Marshal’s Bradley Anstis Relocates to U.S. Headquarters

Vice President of Products Move Supports Marshal’s Growth Strategy for North American Market

ATLANTA (May 13, 2008) Secure email and Web gateway security provider Marshal today announced that Vice President of Products Bradley Anstis has relocated to Marshal’s U.S. headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, from Auckland, New Zealand, the company’s R&D hub. The move signifies the importance of the North American market to Marshal’s global business growth strategy. Anstis will also support and build out Marshal’s product management capability in the U.S.

“Having Bradley direct the product management activities from Atlanta will give him more direct interaction with U.S. companies and Marshal’s North American channel partners to produce solutions tailored to solving the unique security problems faced by American and Canadian companies,” said Ed Macnair, CEO of Marshal. “This move further supports Marshal’s global growth strategy to spur growth in this important region.”

Anstis is responsible for driving the continuing development, innovation and enhancement of Marshal solutions. He also heads up the Threat Research and Content Engineering team (TRACE), which provides around the clock monitoring of email and Internet traffic to help ensure Marshal customers are protected from the emerging threats to their email and Internet gateways.

Anstis is a 20-year veteran of the IT industry and has held various technical management positions with Protocom Development Systems and Citrix in Asia Pacific. He most recently oversaw the release of Marshal’s Defense-in-Depth Anti-Spam Engine, WebMarshal v6.0 and MailMarshal SMTP v6.4 as well as new appliance and services delivery platforms for MailMarshal. Marshal’s current development projects include a new virtual appliance, an enhanced email encryption solution and a product that extends Microsoft Exchange to ensure internal email security.

“I’m pleased to join our Americas team and look forward to meeting with customers extensively to learn more about the challenges they’re facing in content security,” said Anstis. “The North American market represents an incredible opportunity for Marshal and I’m excited to be part of it.”
